Although we have been given glimpses of our final destination, the path of God can only be navigated through by faith. We cannot see with our carnal eyes where we are going in our spiritual quest for God. Faith goes as far as it can see, and when it gets there it will al-ways be able to see farther. When writing to the Romans, the apostle Paul said concerning our belief, “For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, ‘The just shall live by faith.’”

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When in the midst of life’s many perplexing dilemmas, faith is able to grasp and seize that which is ahead. It is the conviction of the reality we see in the invisible realm of all that we cannot see with our carnal eyes. It is a firm belief in something for which there is no proof. When we respond in this kind of faith to whatever seems impossible or perplexing, it not only brings us into the fruitfulness that God intended for us, but also prepares us for the next adventure with an added dimension to our faith as we grow from faith to faith. It also causes us to be launched further into the destiny and purpose for which we were created.

The Bible gives us some good definitions as to what faith is. Hebrews tells us it is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. The seed of faith is planted when we come into total agreement with God’s Word on whatever it is we are hoping and believing God for.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title-deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality--faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses. (Amplified Version)

Using this definition of faith we should be able to come up with a whole new vision and purpose for our lives and what we can actually accomplish through faith. You do not have to settle for your life as it is. God wants you through faith to come into the fullness of what He has for you.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Romans 1:17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith."

Our day to day lives are to consist of a walk in faith. In order to grow from faith to faith our faith must be exercised on a regular basis. We need to look at the many things we are involved in each day and the problems we come up against as opportunities to exercise our faith.

What kind of a faith picture do you have for your life? Your family? Your marriage? Your job? Your business? Do you know what God's will is for you in all of these areas? If so, then you can begin to apply faith. God's will is for you to prosper in all of these areas.
