About Ken Birks
Ken Birks is an ordained Pastor/Teacher in the Body of Christ and is one of the staff pastors at The Rock of Roseville in Roseville, California where he also functions as an elder. Ken has been a part of The Rock of Roseville Church since its inception in 1997. Before becoming a part of The Rock of Roseville, Ken was the Sr. Pastor of Golden Valley Chrstian Center in Roseville, CA. He has been a born again Christian for over 35 years.
The Firm Foundation Classes are designed for new or young Christians who have a desire to grow in God's Word. This course deals with basic foundational beliefs.
Each session will consist of four parts: Digging the Foundation, Forming and Reinforcement, Pouring the Foundation and Finishing Touches.
Digging the Foundation: This is what will be taught, why it is necessary to know, what this will do for you in your walk with the Lord and what you may experience if you don't understand it.
Forming and Reinforcement: This is the actual teaching; the truth you will learn will form and reinforce your life and give you the truth to build upon.
Pouring The Foundation: This is the "How to" portion; how you incorporate the truths you have learned into your daily lives.
Finishing Touches: This would consist of resources you can review to go deeper into the subject. For example, websites, books,movies, activity, etc.
You may purchase the Teacher's Edition for $11.50 rather than $17.50 which includes tax or you may purchase both teacher and student editions for $17.50 rather $32.50 which includes tax.
This entire class is available in workbooks for both instructor and student. The student version has fill in the blanks.
