The question is – are we sitting on the bench watching others make the plays or are we in the game making great plays for God? Are we in God’s playbook?

In sports, in order to be an effective player that makes lots of plays, it’s important to know your position and how to position yourself to make the plays.

In Christ we have all been given positions, ministries, gifts and talents that make up our calling in God. We all have a destiny to fulfill.

Romans 12:3-4 (NKJV) For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith. 4For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function...

John 12:26 "If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.

What He is saying here is that He expects us to be in position, so that we can handle the ball when it is given to us.
