Romans 8:36-37 As it is written: "For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter." 37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

2 Corinthians 2:14-15 Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. 15 For we are to God the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

1 John 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith.

You are an overcomer because of who you are in Christ. You are a child of God – one of His favorites – Jn. 1:12. You are seated in heavenly places with Christ – Eph. 2:6 You have inherited all things with Him – Eph. 1:17-18. You are more than a conqueror in Him – Rom. 8:37. You have the Holy Spirit of God with you – Acts 1:8. You have the kingdom of God within you – Luke 17:21. You have the mind of Christ – 1 Cor. 2:16. You are partakers of the divine nature – 2 Pet 1:4. You always triumph in Christ – 2 Cor. 2:14. These are the seeds of God’s Word that He wants to get engrafted into our hearts that will help us to be the overcomers He has called us to be.

As we can see, the Scriptures are very clear that God not only wants and desires for us to have an overcoming mentality, but that He has created us to be overcomers who triumph in all things.
